Costume Rental Overview
1. Prices quoted apply to a rental period of one day (24 hours). Each additional day or part thereof is one-half the quoted price. LATE CHARGES will be added if the costume is not returned by the date specified.
2. Costume orders may be paid via cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard. There is a $25 charge for returned checks. At least two pieces of ID (one with photo) and the name and phone number of your employer are required for costume rental. YOU MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO RENT A COSTUME. Our rental contract is a legally binding document.
3. Costumes may be reserved in advance of pick-up by placing a $25 down payment on each costume, which applies to the rental price. The balance of the rental fee is due upon pick-up. THE RESERVATION DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE SHOULD YOU DECIDE TO CANCEL YOUR ORDER.
4. If you cannot furnish two pieces of ID and employer information, then a security deposit equal to DOUBLE the amount of the rental must be held until the timely return of the costume.
5. If costumes are returned with damage, fees will be assessed for the repair or replacement cost. If costumes are not returned, the replacement cost will be charged to the credit card number provided.
6. All costumes are washed after each use. Alterations, repairs, and pressing will be done after reservations are made and the $25 down payment has been paid.
7. Some costumes cannot be altered due to the fabric content or construction. NO ALTERATIONS WILL BE DONE DURING THE LAST WEEK OF OCTOBER.
8. Made-to-order costumes are available. The delivery time is 6-8 weeks after half of the price has been paid or fabric has been delivered. A rush fee of at least $100 will be charged if the item is needed sooner.
NO SPECIAL ORDERS WILL BE TAKEN IN SEPTEMBER OR OCTOBER.
8. Appointments for custom make-up jobs are available. The fee is $25 per hour plus all make-up and materials used. Most make-up jobs take one hour. Reserve your time in advance!
9. Ask about special discounts for parties of 10 or more. Costume parties, period weddings, murder mysteries … just to get your imagination working. Advance notice is required.
